DeMarini built it with a 2-piece design that has a hybrid (alloy barrel and composite handle) build. The barrel has the DX1 Alloy that is designed not only to put a charge into a softball but it is also designed to be durable. The handle will be built with the TP Composite that should limit the amount of vibration that could get to a batter’s hands on a miss-hit. 

Lastly, the bat is going to be very lightweight with a drop 13 length-to-weight ratio. That drop size is going to make the bat easy to handle for young ladies that might consider themselves power hitters or for ladies that would be characterized as a contact hitter.
